Vanessa Lengies was born on July 21, 1985 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Vanessa is an actress, dancer and singer. Born to a German father and an Egyptian mother, the actress grew up in the town of Hudson. She began her career at the age of 9 in Canadian television, appearing in shows such as Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Popular Mechanics for Kids. Her first major role came in 2002, when she was cast as Roxanne in the NBC series American Dreams.
Lengies’ later television roles include a recurring stint in the TNT drama Hawthorne, and on the Fox musical series Glee. She is most famous for her role has Joanne Charis in the sports comedy “Stick It.” She also appeared in films such as The Perfect Man and Waiting. At present, she is one of the cast members of the ABC sitcom Mixology.
Vanessa likes snowboarding, event planning, dancing and singing. She speaks English, French and some Arabic.
