Self-sculpting Sand

Researchers from MIT have recently been busy with their Self-sculpting Sand, which are equipped with electropermanent magnets, a microprocessor and a working memory unit to accomplish their unique function of automatically joining to replicate a product exactly identical to the one you had put in the pile. The technology sounds bit of mysterious and unbelievable, but you may know better of it via the video below.
