AS we see it, a home can never have too many closets or scented candles. Here are some to add to the collection: the Robert Mapplethorpe series by Ligne Blanche Paris, the artistically inclined houseware and confectionary company that has brought us Tom Sachs candles and Andy Warhol chocolates. Produced in collaboration with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, the porcelain candles feature the late photographer’s iconic flower still lifes, and come in two different sets: calla lily and orchid, or lily and tulip, each with wonderful scents created by the Givaudan perfumers Shyamala Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux. Bet you can’t light just one. Set of two Mapplethorpe candles, $96 at the Guggenheim Museum store, 1071 Fifth Avenue.
