Laura Whitmore Biography (1985 – )

Laura-Whitmore was born on 4 May 1985 in Dublin, and was brought up in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. She studied journalism at Dublin City University. Laura found fame in 2008, when MTV launched , a search campaign. She beat the other competitors, and landed herself a job as face of MTV News in Europe. Before hitting the big time she worked as a researcher on Irish radio show, Lunchtime with Eamon Keane. In 2011 she replaced Caroline Flack on ITV2’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! NOW! and in 2012 she hosted the BRIT Awards alongside Keith Lemon. As well as her impressive TV career, Laura has a clothing range at A Wear, an Irish clothing chain. Laura is currently dating Danny O’Reilly of The Coronas, an Irish indie band.
