End of Life Care Machine

At the end of life, a caressing action from the family or friends may support people to go through that period more peacefully. However, not everybody can have one company them when they need it, that’s why designer Chen has created this Last Minute Robot. The machine is designed capable of reenacting human social behaviors, which will touch the patient’s arm back and forth to stimulate the sense of comfort when it detects the end of life. Also, the robot can annunciate the patient’s name while stroking the patient during the dying process.
