BC Jean is an American singer-songwriter and pop/rock singer, best known for writing and lp the first version of the Beyoncé hit single, “If I Were A Boy”, which premiered on music field website “Crazed Hits” in August 2008, 3 months prior to Beyoncé releasing the song. Jean is a native of San Diego, California. She now lives in Studio urban center, Caliregardingnia. Her grandparents were signed to RCA Records for more than THIRTY years. Her grandfather with Perry Como and both grandparents with Fred Waring. Jean is already signed to J Records and is working on an record with Dallas Austin, The Matrix, and Toby Gad. It is due regarding release in 2010. After signing with J, Clive David said, “You eagerly wait for a multi-talented unexampled artist to come along such a BC Jean,” said Clive Davis, Sony Music Entertainment’s CEO. “We’re all genuinely delighted that BC has chosen us as her musical house.”
When the song was launched by Beyoncé in October, Fox News ran a story stating that Beyoncé stole the song from Jean, who co-wrote the song with producer Toby Gad. Neither Jean nor Gad have launched official statements concerning this matter.
