BAFTA Awards 2014 – When, where, who is the host…

2014-BAFTA-Film-Awards-PosterThe (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) is set to be held on Sunday, 16 February, at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London.

The 2014 will be telecast live on BBC One and BBC One HD at 9 pm GMT, while a red carpet show of half hour duration will be broadcast on BBC Three. The red carpet hosted by Edith Bowman will start at 8.30 pm GMT.

Tinie Tempah and Laura Mvula will open the evening with a live rendition of their collaboration Heroes.

A-Lister and this year’s BAFTA fellowship winner Dame Helen Mirren will attend alongside the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and BAFTA nominee Oprah Winfrey.

Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hanks, Steve Coogan, Steve McQueen, Sandra Bullock, Michael Fassbender, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matt Damon, Martin Scorsese, Lupita Nyong’o, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Thompson, Dame Judi Dench, Christian Bale, Daniel Brühl, Eddie Redmayne, Helen McCrory, Sandra Bullock, and Uma Thurman among others will attend the award ceremony on Sunday night.
